There was a time in my life when I would decorate for fall and the house would look like a tree vomited its leaves all over my living room. In my enthusiasm I would over-decorate and have to go back and remove excess branches, candles and wooden pumpkin plaques.
More recently I have taken a simpler approach to seasonal decorating. This could be due to my tastes changing or laziness. Honestly it is probably both. Either way, I am happy with my new, minimalist decorating approach. It is simple, fast, inexpensive and “leaves” the house clutter-free and ready to welcome the season.
