It all started with a free deluxe sample of Benefit’s Boi-ing concealer that came in my order from Sephora. I was surprised and instantly hooked by how smoothly the Boi-ing concealer went onto my skin. After a quick peek at the ingredients, I assume it is the beeswax that makes this concealer so light and the coverage so smooth.
I ran out of my Boi-ing deluxe sample and went on Sephora’s website to order a full-size concealer and found Life’s Little Correctors kit featuring Boi-ing from Benefit instead. This color-correcting kit is perfect for the summer and fall season. The kit has both the 01 and 02 shades of concealer which is ideal for when your skin may be transitioning from winter pale to a summer glow and then back again. It also contains Lemon aid which is an eyelid primer that conceals redness and discoloration. You can wear it with or without eyeshadow.
Another bonus in this kit is the Erase Paste which glides on beautifully under your eyes or on any blemish. It doesn’t leave the little cracks in the corners of your eye that so many concealers do. Again, thumbs up to beeswax I guess. Save the bees!
Finally, the eye bright is perfect to add to the inner and outer corners of your eyes if you have had a late night. It gives you an instant sparkle and brightness in the eyes that could only be achieved by your morning cup of coffee. No one will have to know how late you stayed up to binge-watch Netflix…
On a health note, I am allergic to sulfates on my skin so I was pleased to see that these concealers and brighteners are free of parabens, sulfates and phthalates. I am pretty sure this kit will last through the rest of summer and into early fall. You can get this kit for $20 on Sephora which I think is a really awesome deal considering a regular size Boi-ing concealer is also $20 and with the kit you get all the other products too.
